Meet Kate.
You might look fine on paper.
I work with what’s underneath.
You’re white-knuckling your way through jobs, relationships, even the moments that are supposed to feel relaxing. You’re anxious. Your thoughts won’t shut up. You’re not sure if it’s burnout from work, depression, or just the way life is now.
You might have already done therapy before. Maybe it felt like a polite conversation that didn’t reach anything real. Maybe you learned some “coping skills” but inside, nothing changed. Or maybe this is your first time, and you're hoping it won’t be a waste.
You're in the right place.
We’ll slow it down, tune in, and rebuild from something real. I’ll ask you what your stomach does when you talk. I’ll notice when your jaw locks or your eyes shift away. I’ll help you stay with what’s actually happening in your body, your thoughts, and your relationships so you can stop performing your life and start living it. Not because you learn to ignore your pain, but because you finally start listening to yourself in a way that changes everything.
No performance. No perfect healing arc. Just space to go deep and build a life that actually feels like yours.
If you want to get a feel for my voice and how I think about this work, you can explore more of my writing here.
You might work well with me if…
You’re a couple that’s been through hell and wants peace more than perfection
You’re a high achiever who’s great at doing the “right” things… but can’t feel anything
You’re a survivor of insurance-mandated 30-minute check-ins or group therapy that left them cold
You’re a family dealing with mental illness and walking that tightrope together
You’re an overthinker whose mind won’t stop torturing them with social anxiety and reruns of worst-case scenarios
You’re someone with Big T, little t, or “I don’t call it trauma but I still feel wrecked” history
